Cookies and external services

What your browser uses while you browse, sign in or manage a request.

Updated 26 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-26.1

Request management

A first-party cookie named ng_request_<request reference> contains a random access credential. It is HttpOnly and SameSite Strict and lasts up to 90 days. It is necessary to let the original browser view quotes and manage that request. The server also enforces the 90-day limit. Clearing it removes browser access; it does not close the request or erase stored data.

Optional maps

Directory maps use Mapbox; location and local service maps use OpenStreetMap. Either is loaded only after you choose Load map. It receives browser/network information and can use its own storage and map caches. You can use postcode search and directory lists without loading a map. Your choice is not remembered across pages; hiding a loaded map stops the map component but cannot undo earlier network requests. See mapbox.com/legal/privacy and osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy. OpenStreetMap embeds may use their own cookies and caches; we do not request your device location for these maps.

Sign-in, security and payments

ChatGPT sign-in, Cloudflare security checks and Airwallex checkout are external services involved when using those features. They may use necessary cookies or similar technologies under their own notices. Your browser can control or clear stored data, but blocking necessary technologies can prevent the feature working.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Reject analytics leaves it blocked. It measures visits to public pages using a browser identifier, page path, title, referring website and browser/device information. We do not measure account, administration, quote forms, request-management or job pages. URL query strings and fragments are excluded, and referring addresses are reduced to their origin. Automatic form, search and outbound-click measurement and Google signals are disabled. We do not send your name, email, phone, postcode, form answers or account identifier. Google processes this information under its own privacy notice at policies.google.com/privacy; see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your analytics choice and storage

A necessary localStorage record named nextgen.cookie-choice.v1 remembers your analytics choice for 180 days. If you accept, Google Analytics can set _ga and _ga_JEM8CGHEB6 first-party cookies with an expiry of up to 180 days, renewed with use. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance disables future measurement, removes these first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded library. Withdrawing does not erase data already received by Google. Browser blocking, clearing storage or a different browser may require a new choice.

Google AdSense

This site is registered with Google AdSense and publishes an ownership meta tag and ads.txt seller record. These files do not load advertising, set advertising cookies or transmit a browsing event. Advertising is not currently loaded. Ad display requires Google approval and a Google-certified consent platform; any future advertising will be explained here before it starts.
