Your role
When your business decides how to quote and deal with a customer, it normally acts as an independent controller. You must establish your own lawful basis and provide the privacy information required for your processing. Each party remains responsible for its own obligations.
Permitted use
Use information only to respond to the requested job, prepare a quotation, perform agreed work and meet related legal obligations. Do not sell or resell it, publish it, add it to unrelated marketing lists or solicit unrelated work. Requested quote responses do not authorise newsletters or ongoing promotions.
Access and security
Limit access to authorised people who need the information for that job. Apply appropriate security, confidentiality and safeguards when using suppliers or sharing for the work. Do not share account credentials. You remain responsible for any onward disclosure you make.
Contact preferences and retention
Stop unwanted quote contact when the customer asks. Keep details only for as long as necessary for the enquiry, agreed work and relevant legal obligations. A paid lead does not justify indefinite retention. Record justified exceptions and securely delete unnecessary copies.
Rights and incidents
Handle applicable access, correction, deletion and objection requests and cooperate with Glass Marketplace where a request concerns shared data. Tell gdpr@nextgen.glass promptly about misuse, mistaken disclosure or a security incident involving platform leads. Cooperate to contain harm and correct records. Each party remains responsible for its own regulator and individual notification duties.
Enforcement
Misuse may result in restricted access or termination, subject to applicable rights. Contact customerservice@nextgen.glass if you believe a restriction is mistaken. These rules form part of the Business Terms.
